Catalyzing social change through Hip-Hop education
The Hip-Hop Education Center catalyzes social change and equity through transnational research, curated curricula, collaborative programming, career and leadership development, and a living repository of Hip-Hop history and culture. Through innovative partnerships and program design, the Hip Hop Education Center is bringing awareness of careers in the music and tech industries, hands-on skills development in audio production, and mentoring from professionals in industry to justice-impacted youth living in The Bronx, Brooklyn, Harlem, and Queens.
Investing in educators
The AME (Arts, Media, and Entertainment) Institute strives to strengthen the pipeline from public education to the creative industries by empowering educators with the tools and training they need to prepare the next generation of our workforce. By investing in the upskilling and professional development of educators we can make a more sustainable and expansive impact in Arts, Media, and Entertainment classrooms throughout California and the country.
Designing for the future
Inneract Project strives to bring design to more communities and increase Black and Latinx representation and leadership in technology and design. Our UX Design team hosts students from Inneract Project each summer for a hands-on workshop where they examine the importance of empathy-driven design and provide insights into how they as professional designers approach solving problems.
