Saving, sharing, and exporting for Android devices

Android users, this guide is for you! Here is a step-by-step guide to saving your Dolby On recordings to your Android device.

Step 1: Open your Library and select the track you'd like to save or export

Just tap on the track you'd like to save or export.

Step 2: Tap the three-dot share icon

To save and/or share, choose from the following options:
1. Post to Social Media
  • Share your tracks to social media platforms downloaded to your device.
  • *Please note: Audio tracks require an animation overlay to post to certain social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook.

2. Share Audio 

a. Choose from one of the following:

  • Save Audio - This option allows you to choose a folder or saving destination on your device.
  • More Audio Apps - This option allows you to save or export your track to more audio compatible options on your device like, email apps, SMS, Google Drive, Nearby Share, and more.

b. Check that your track is named correctly. Just tap on your track name to edit. Then tap "save".

c. Choose a folder destination.

d. Once your track has been saved, you'll see a pop-up message, reminding you where your track is saved. Tap the pop-up to locate your file.

3. Share Video

a. Choose from one of the following:

  • Save Video - This option allows you to choose a folder or saving destination on your device.
  • More Video Apps - This option allows you to save or export your track to more audio compatible options on your device like, email apps, SMS, Google Drive, Nearby Share, and more.

b. Check that your track is named correctly. Just tap on your track name to edit. Then tap "save".

c. Choose a folder destination.

d. Once your track has been saved, you'll see a pop-up message, reminding you where your track is saved. Tap the pop-up to locate your file.
