Asteria
In a collaborative commission with Dolby and NASA JPL, and designed for the Dolby Gallery’s 64-foot LED wraparound wall at its headquarters in San Francisco, visual artist GMUNK created a site-specific augmented reality experience for iOS devices. Inspired by Nasa's Jet Propulsion Laboratory and cosmic mythology, Asteria consists of a 3-act, immersive space exploration synchronized with a 12-minute film that plays on loop.
