Kevin Yeaman, President, Chief Executive Officer and Director
Kevin Yeaman is President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Dolby. Under his leadership, Dolby continues to push the boundaries of what is possible in audio and imaging. The company drives innovation and growth by creating cutting edge technologies that enhance immersive entertainment and communications experiences for people around the world.
Before being named CEO in 2009, Kevin served as Dolby's Chief Financial Officer, developing infrastructure to support growth and expansion. Prior to Dolby, Kevin was the Chief Financial Officer of Epiphany and Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations at Informix.
Kevin was inducted as a member of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences in 2014. Kevin participates on industry and education boards. He holds a BS degree in commerce from Santa Clara University.
Andy Sherman, Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary
As Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, Andy Sherman oversees Dolby’s patent licensing businesses and government relations, and Dolby's worldwide legal affairs, including all corporate, regulatory, intellectual property, litigation, and licensing activities.
Prior to joining Dolby, Andy served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel at CBS Interactive, where he led the legal group advising CBS's online entertainment, mobile, technology, sports, news, games, lifestyle, and international business units. Andy joined CBS Interactive following CBS's acquisition of CNET Networks, where he was Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary, responsible for global legal and regulatory matters. In senior legal positions at Sybase, PeopleSoft, and Epiphany, Andy oversaw legal aspects of US and international mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic transactions, and other matters.
Earlier in his career, Andy worked in private practice with Gray Cary Ware & Freidenrich (now DLA Piper), specializing in the representation of emerging technology companies in intellectual property and technology-related legal matters. Andy holds a JD from the University of the Pacific, as well as a BS degree in business administration from the University of Southern California.
Giles Baker, Senior Vice President of Cloud Media Solutions
As Senior Vice President of Dolby Cloud Solutions, Giles Baker leads a global team that creates cloud-based solutions for companies delivering digital experiences. With these solutions, customers can achieve more engagement and higher revenue through enhancements like higher quality video and audio, and the addition of real-time interactivity to live events.
During his tenure with Dolby, Giles has led global teams to deliver technology and innovations that have raised the standard of entertainment experiences across the world. His teams built complete industry solutions — from content production to distribution and playback — to bring immersive entertainment experiences, including Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, to consumers via devices including TVs, game consoles, PCs, digital media adapters, mobile phones, and tablets.
Before joining Dolby in 2010, Giles spent 10 years in business leadership roles at Adobe, where he was responsible for professional video software. Previously, he was responsible for the professional DVD authoring business at Sonic Solutions.
Giles holds an undergraduate degree in music and sound recording from the University of Surrey and an MBA degree from the Wharton School.
John Couling, Senior Vice President of Entertainment
As Senior Vice President of Entertainment, John Couling leads a global team responsible for developing and delivering transformative entertainment experiences for billions of people worldwide. Under his leadership, Dolby’s consumer entertainment and cinema businesses are bringing Dolby’s breakthrough technologies, powering the world’s top movies, TV shows, music, games, and live sports to more places around the world across a wider range of consumer experiences and devices. John also oversees Dolby's customer and partner relationships organization across the entertainment industry, leading sales, delivery, and integration of Dolby technologies and solutions into partners' services and products.
John has held multiple leadership roles at Dolby, driving the expansion of Dolby technology into the broadband and mobile internet-delivered entertainment ecosystem, redefining the audio experience on streaming services and mobile devices, and being a part of Dolby’s first digital cinema offerings. During his tenure, his teams established partnerships with the world's leading content aggregators and distributors and consumer device makers to integrate Dolby technology into their products. Previously, John managed a global team responsible for all technology platforms and products, as well as worldwide business development. He initially joined Dolby in 1997 as an applications engineer working in the then-emerging DVD market.
John holds a BS degree in astrophysics from the University of Bristol.
Linda Rogers, Senior Vice President Chief People Officer
As Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer, Linda Rogers leads all aspects of Dolby’s People group worldwide, looking for new ways to empower and inspire Dolby's employees.
Linda leveraged her 20 years of industry experience to manage her own consultancy firm, Work Reimagined. Through her company, she helped many Silicon Valley technology organizations adapt to rapid changes in the global workforce and business environments. Previously, she was the Chief Human Resources Officer at eSilicon Corporation and held a number of senior strategy and human resources roles at Sun Microsystems. She has also held several HR roles with Computer Sciences Corporation in the US and Europe.
She received Master of Science in Human Resources and Training from the University of Leicester and holds multiple strategy and human capital qualifications from the National College of Ireland, University of Southern California and Stanford University.
Edwin Marin, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer
As Chief Information Officer, Edwin Marin leads a global team responsible for Dolby’s IT infrastructure and operations and is responsible for partnering across Dolby to ensure the company has the infrastructure and tools to support employees, customers and products.
Edwin’s career comprises 30 years of experience in IT infrastructure and commercial software engineering, including software as a service and enterprise software delivery models.
Edwin previously served as Chief Information Officer at Secureworks where he led the company’s global engineering, detection research, and IT teams to deliver innovative solutions that drive business growth. During the course of his tenure, he also held leadership roles for CTP, the company’s former counter threat platform and Secureworks Taegis™ platform.
Prior to Secureworks, Edwin served in leadership roles at BMC Software, following the acquisition of Bladelogic and Pwnie Express, a venture-backed software company in the security space and held various strategic positions at IntraLinks, MIT Lincoln Laboratory, Breakaway Solutions/Eggrock Partners, and Westinghouse Electric Corporation.
He graduated with a BSEE from the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department at MIT.
Robert Park, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Robert Park is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Dolby Laboratories. Robert leads the company’s global finance organization. Throughout his 25+ year career, Robert has held financial and strategic business leadership roles and guided companies through growth. He’s navigated companies through the multitude of growth stages to achieve scale and developed new business models, including at PayPal, Chegg Inc., and most recently at BlueJeans Network, which was acquired by Verizon in 2020. Robert began his finance career with Ernst & Young LLP, an accounting firm, serving numerous technology clients. Robert holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
Dr. Shriram Revankar, Senior Vice President, Advanced Technology Group
As Senior Vice President of the Advanced Technology Group, Dr. Shriram Revankar oversees teams creating and delivering innovations that transform the sight and sound of immersive entertainment experiences, including the office of the Chief Technology Officer, image and sound research and development (R&D), prototyping, and technical operations.
Shriram previously served as Vice President and Fellow at Adobe where he focused on delivering high impact technologies to Adobe’s Digital Experience and Document Cloud Businesses. Through his global lab leadership across the US and India, Shriram expanded on the world-class research competencies in AI, data science, social network analysis, data mining, big data analytics, natural language processing, knowledge management, machine learning and related areas at Adobe Research.
Prior to joining Adobe, Shriram was a Xerox Fellow and the head of Smart Systems Lab and also the Chief Architect of the Production Solutions business at Xerox Corporation. He has a master’s and Ph.D. in computer science from SUNY Buffalo. His research interests include business intelligence and automation, smart and adaptive systems, AI and data science, computer vision and image processing, and analysis of social networks.
Todd Pendleton, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer
As Chief Marketing Officer, Todd Pendleton leads Dolby’s marketing efforts and is responsible for promoting the experiential brand globally to consumers and through its partners.
With more than two decades of experience, Todd’s career includes marketing global iconic brands like Samsung and Nike. In addition, he has created his own stealth marketing consultancy, Defi, working with leaders in entertainment and tech to build their brands and revenues.
At Nike, he held country, regional, and global leadership roles working across North America, Europe, and Asia. Under his leadership, he led many of Nike’s well-known initiatives including Nike Freestyle, LiveStrong Chalkbot, Tiger/Earl, and Write the Future.
As CMO of Samsung North America, Todd led the brand’s transformation including the relaunch of the Samsung Galaxy, linking the brand to cultural moments and giving it a new voice and story. The results included record growth in the mobile business, becoming the fastest growing social brand and delivering four-fold domestic revenue growth in less than four years.
Todd earned his degree in Political Science and International Business from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts.
